Supplémentaire: Les Historiens de l’Art
You can complete an independent art
project in order to showcase some of what you have learned about French art history and further
investigate an aspect that interests you.
It must be strongly connected to French history/culture/art and you must
clearly articulate that connection. All
written elements must be typed.
You may choose one of the
following:
1.
Reproduce a work of art from a period/artist (must include ½-1 pg explanation/reflection
typed)
2.
Create a work of art in the style of a period/artist (must include ½-1 pg explanation/reflection
typed)
3.
Research the life and work of an artist (2 pgs typed)
4.
Write a critical analysis of a work of art or comparing 2 works of art, looking
at construction, motifs, symbolism, significance, meanings, etc.. (2 pages typed)
(MUST be a French speaking/connected artist/artwork/movement)
Due: By Thursday 6/13 (Day of the final exam!)
