Vendredi 14/03

Today we reviewed regular and irregular verbs and l’imperatif for the quiz.  We also talked about the difference between “venir de + place” and “venir de + infinitive”.

A Faire:  Make observations about patterns that exist with the endings of regular verbs/conjugations of the big 4 irregular verbs & pg 69 #7

Devoirs :  Finish packet & handouts: Faire, venir, avoir ou être (front only) ; Faire/Venir Review (both sides). Also pg 69 #6 (say what each person in column A was just doing in column B (venir de + infinitive) and what he/she/they are going to do (aller + infinitive) in column C—Be logical!!


Quiz:  Expressions (avoir, faire, etre), c'est vs. il est, Irregular verb conjugations (including Venir!), Verb vocabulary (see regular verb list), vocab pgs 96, 98, 100 ; depuis, aller + infinitive, imperative, be sure to review basics too (questions, adjectives, ER/IR/RE verbs, common phrases, stress pronouns, possessive adjectives, etc.—reference pages in the back of your book are helpful for this!) Culture: la manifestation et la grève, Mardi Gras/Carnaval, St. Valentin
