Jeudi 11/10

Today in class we used vocab from yellow box on page 20 to talk about what we want to do/must do this weekend, and how to accept an invitation to do something.  We also practiced the verb conjugations for ER, IR and we added the RE endings as well.  Possible POP QUIZ next week sometime!!

A Faire:  Pg 20 #5, write the questions only.  Then play out the dialogue with a partner

Devoirs (Homework):  pg 21 #7: write questions using question word in parentheses, correct conjugation of the verb given, and an appropriate question format.  Then write your own answers to the questions in complete sentences.  MEMORIZE ER/IR/RE verb endings!!

Create an original dialogue and perform it for Mme. Reid and/or your class (extra points!)
*You should utilize vocabulary, expressions, questions, and verbs we've been working on in class
*8 sentences = 1 absence, 4 sentences = 1 tardy
*You may work with other students to complete this.
*Due by Friday 10/19

Mardi 09/10

Today in class we reviewed asking questions and IR/ER verbs.  We also went over the questions and vocabulary in the yellow box on pg. 20.  We got new calendars.  All old calendars should be turned in and all quizzes corrected by the end of the day!

A Faire:  IR verb handout #2.  Include subject (who) and verb.

Devoirs (Homework):  Take notes over yellow box pg 21, do pg 20 #4 (write 6 sentences using each of the starters, choose one of j’aime/je n’aime pas/je préfère or any vocab from yellow box above to complete the rest of the sentence)

Jeudi 04/10

Today in class we corrected our quizzes for partial credit, presented our dialogues and turned in our calendars (progress reports go out Tuesday!)

Devoirs (Homework):  Finish pg 19 #3, address all bullet points for each number and make sure there is at least one negative for each number.  Memorize, if you haven’t already, ER/IR verb endings!!

Mardi 02/10

Today in class we reviewed asking questions and IR/ER verbs.  We started a mini project in partners where we are creating dialogues (see criteria under handouts).

Lundi 01/10

Today in class we reviewed the vocabulary from the homework as well as –ER and --IR verbs (sang verb songs).  We also added these endings to a verb chart.
